Five things we do differently, and the cost of each one to us.
1. The delivery estimate is the real one
Eight to sixteen business days, stated before you buy. It costs us orders from people who want it this week. It saves both of us a fortnight of emails and a chargeback.
2. The price is the price
No advertised zero with the cost moved into shipping. Free delivery over $59, otherwise a flat $6.95, and both numbers are on the product page.
3. Real measurements on everything
Every bag is listed with its actual dimensions in inches and centimetres. Measure a bag you already own and compare — it is the only reliable way to buy a bag online.
4. No manufactured urgency
No timer that resets, no "reserved for four minutes", no counter of items claimed today. If something is genuinely low, the product page says so because the stock number says so.
5. Reviews only from real orders
We do not seed, buy, write or import reviews. A new pattern therefore sits with an empty review section for a while. That is what an honest one looks like at the start.
And one thing we are not
We are not a workshop and there is no artisan behind the name. Marlow Bags is a shop. The bags are made to our specification by a manufacturer overseas. We think the product stands up without a story attached to it.
