Eleanor P., Victoria

The books on the front are what sold me, but it is the make of it that keeps surprising me. Properly quilted, properly stitched, and it carries far more than it looks like it should.

Rosemary K., Western Australia

I have been using it every day since it arrived and there is not a loose thread anywhere. The rose on the front still looks as plush as the day I opened it.

Verified Buyer

Faye D., South Australia

I took it to the market and two different women stopped me to ask about it. For something this pretty I expected it to be flimsy and it simply is not.

Verified Buyer

Loretta B., New South Wales

My husband laughed at me for buying a bag with a gnome on it and now he is the one who carries it. It is roomy, it stands up on its own, and it makes me smile.

Verified Buyer

Willa M., Tasmania

A cat asleep on a shelf of books is the most me thing I have ever owned. It holds a week of library books without complaining and the handles are kind to my shoulder.

Verified Buyer

Hazel R., Queensland

The butterflies are raised and stitched, not just printed flat, which is what makes it look expensive. I have already ordered a second one for my sister.

Every Stitch Tells a Story

For years, I picked every print myself and had every order packed with care. Now it's time for me to stop and be Grandma full-time. Every bag that's left is looking for a new home — and I'd love for it to be yours. You only pay shipping.

Our Story

About Marlow

Every bag in this shop began the same way — with a print I loved myself, and the belief that the things we carry every day should be cheerful.

After years of choosing prints, it's time to slow down.

I've spent years hunting for prints you won't find on a high street shelf, and having them put on these bags. Now I'm retiring — I want to spend my days with my grandchildren, not paying rent on a warehouse. Rather than lock my remaining bags away, I'd rather send them to homes that will love them. That's why every one is free now — you only pay shipping. Thank you for being part of the last chapter. ❤️

— Marlow
